World Cup Soccer

I wrote this while the World Cup games were going on and I never got to post it. Sorry!!!
This is me one time after church ( where my face got painted, obviously )

Hi All, I would like to ask you a question, Do you know what the World Cup is? If not, you are missing out on a lot of fun. Do you like soccer? If so, the World Cup is just for you!!!!! The World Cup is a big soccer game for 32 teams in the world that happens once every four years. USA, South Africa, Brazil and England are only 4 of the 32 teams that made it for the Fifa World Cup Soccer Games.  AYOBA!!!! That is what we say here in South Africa.
This is me at the Italy vs. Paraguay game in Cape Town, Our friends had two tickets and couldn't go because they were sick. Only me and my dad went. Like my blog post says.

The USA tied with England one week ago, and also tied Slovenia very recently. In fact, it was ( I think ) yesterday! ( Saturday ) Bafana Bafana, which means "Boys Boys" ( I know, BOYS ARE SO ANNOYING  sometimes ) played Uruguay last Wednesday, And we lost. 3-0. We got a red card for tripping somebody ( our goalie did it ) and he got kicked out of the game!! It was horrible.  I didn't like it.
A view from my ( and dad's ) seat at the stadium.

Well, I don't have a TV ( I know, its hard to believe ) but we go to a big mall to watch it, ( most of the games. ) and I went to the Italy vs. Paraguay game last Monday at the Stadium in Cape Town!  It was awesome! ( I went with my dad, cos someone gave us 2 tickets and mom didn't get to go, =(  ) I still had fun though. Italy tied against Uruguay. It was fun and cool.

Until my next post, bye for now!

When I Met My Dream Dog

I have a story, A romantic story. Well, that depends on what you think romantic means. On that day, February 1, 2010, I set my eyes on the most beautiful dog ever! Okay, she was actually the dirtiest dog ever, but I thought she was the best. Emily, the female Maltese dog, was at the SPCA animal shelter in Cape Town, South Africa.

We had been dog hunting for 2 or 3 days, and we hadn't found any small dogs at any of the other animal shelters. But the SPCA had tons of small dogs!

Emily was really dirty the day we met. But on the date of February 8, when we picked her up... she was beautiful! She had gotten her fur cut, and she had also gotten a bath.

Well, I guess you could call this love at first sight, not just for me but for her too!! We fell in love, and when I asked Dad, "Can we get her?" He said yes!!!  When we picked up Emily, at first I didn't even recognize her!

I was so happy when Emily was in my arms again!! I now feel like I can't live life without her, I love my Emily so much!
We play a lot together, but she doesn't like swimming at all!!

Well, that is the story of love. Thank you for reading. Here are pictures of Emily before and after. Please comment and tell your friends!! Enjoy!!  XOXOXO

Can't believe I'm moving!

Verse 1.
I'm moving to South Africa.
That's too far away.
I don't know what to do.

Chorus.
Moving is so sad!
I can't believe, That this is really happening.
All I ever want, Is to stay right here!
Chasin' That dream like crazy, But it won't come true.

To the tune of Alan Jackson's
